Our Faith

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is God's Word to the world and, as such, is the final authority for faith and life. 1 Timothy 3:15-17

We believe in the Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) revealed in Scripture and confessed in the historic (Nicene, Apostles', and Athanasian) Creeds of the Christian Church. John 3:16, Matthew 28:19

We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He is our Lord and Savior, who by taking the punishment for our sin in His death and rising again to new life has redeemed us so that we may live in His kingdom forever. Colossians 2:9, 1 Timothy 2:5, 2 Corinthians 5:19

We believe that all people are sinners by nature, daily falling short of God's requirements, and have separated themselves from God. Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2:1-3, 1 John 1:8

We believe that God invites you to believe in Jesus as your Savior and to become His beloved child through Baptism. Acts 2:38-39, Acts 16:31

We believe that Baptism offers all people forgiveness of sins and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38-39

Holy Communion

We celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion weekly in the joy of knowing that our Lord Jesus is giving us not merely bread and wine, but his true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, Matthew 26:26-29
